DescriptionThe selected consultant will be required to support for To review Vehicle DMU & signoff.To review drawing & technical specifications.To support for part segregation for sourcing.To support for process indentTrack vehicle assemblyTo resolve issues pertaining to drawing, DFM & DFS and To compare current part with the proposed change.To prepare Cost Estimate for vehicle as per Standard Cost Estimation Process To drive cost reduction through Commercial reduction, VAVE, GEAR (Value addition value-engineering initiatives).To ensure Safety Compliance & nurture safety culture.To coordinate with shop, procurement & other teams for day-to day activities To ensure WCQ complianceTo support for Work on Safety, Environment & Productivity ImprovementTo ensure vehicle completion and handover for testing as per defined timeline.To Coordination with different agencies to resolve issue and ensure vehicle delivery.Safety Rules & PractisesKnowledge of SAP MM ModuleKnowledge of WCQ SLT requirementsComputer ProficiencyAdministrative SkillsManpower Management

The selected consultant will be required to support for: To perform components level performance and durability validation on test rigs To create test plan and/or DVP for automotive vehicle components. To plan and completion of tests as per test plans. To record and maintain test data. To generate reports and give feedback to the respective design and project group. To perform witness testing at outside agencies / supplier. To interact with design departments and plan necessary validation tests. To participate and ensure closure of the respective DFMEA & DVP activities. To perform bench marking exercise and Design of test fixtures. To follow Quality systems such as ISO/TS, QS, OHSAS, 5S, etc.Preferred Skills & Knowledge Good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering and automotive design Should be aware of automotive domain component level validation Should understand and focus on Quality, Cost and Delivery. Should adhere to processes and ensure compliance of the same. Should be able to ensure resource utilization. Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Working experience in component level validation in automotive industry Should possess knowledge of RLD and analysis. Should be able to understand importance of customer satisfaction and work towards it. Automotive engineering knowledge, functioning of vehicle and ANY of the sub systems/aggregates viz, chassis systems, steering, suspension, brakes & controls
