the selected consultant will be required to support for:
• to perform components level performance and durability validation on test rigs
• to create test plan and/or dvp for automotive vehicle components.
• to plan and completion of tests as per test plans.
• to record and maintain test data.
• to generate reports and give feedback to the respective design and project group.
• to perform witness testing at outside agencies / supplier.
• to interact with design departments and plan necessary validation tests.
• to participate and ensure closure of the respective dfmea & dvp activities.
• to perform bench marking exercise and design of test fixtures.
• to follow quality systems such as iso/ts, qs, ohsas, 5s, etc.
preferred skills & knowledge
• good knowledge of fundamentals of engineering and automotive design
• should be aware of automotive domain component level validation
• should understand and focus on quality, cost and delivery.
• should adhere to processes and ensure compliance of the same.
• should be able to ensure resource utilization.
• should possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• working experience in component level validation in automotive industry
• should possess knowledge of rld and analysis.
• should be able to understand importance of customer satisfaction and work towards it.
• automotive engineering knowledge, functioning of vehicle and any of the sub systems/aggregates viz, chassis systems, steering, suspension, brakes & controls
