Job descriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Operates Spray Dryer and understands underlying functions of spray drying parameters.2. Effectively operate controls from Panel.3. Maintain spray dryer logs and submit samples to the lab.4. Create documents related to spray dryer on the log book.5. Troubleshoot dryer processes.6. Assist with Spray Dryer routine maintenance.7. Oversee clean-up of spray dryer panel room & entire dryer system between products.8. Understands and complies with quality regulations as they relate to job responsibilities.9. Complies with good housekeeping and safety rules.10. Advises manager or supervisor when raw materials or components need to be ordered.11. Assist Manager or Supervisor or Chemical Operators during spray drying downtime.12. Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management.Physical Requirements:1. Lift up to 25 kgs.2. Climb ladders and/or stairs.3. Crawl, bend, twist, carry, reach, and kneel throughout shift.5. Stand and/or walk for extended periods.6. Work with and/or around chemicals and/or hazardous materials.7. Repeating motion that may include arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.8. Ability to see and distinguish color.Work Schedule & Hours:1. 12 Hour Shift, 6 days on.2. Includes some weekends and holidays due to rotating schedule.3.
