Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce parts according to engineering drawingsand specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols todetermine machining requirements. Program, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) Select cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures necessary for machining operations. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper functioning. Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, andgauges to verify conformance to specifications. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any technical issues or discrepancies. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document all production activities, including setup sheets, tooling lists, and inspection reports.
