Job Description

 Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce parts according to engineering drawings

and specifications.

 Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols to

determine machining requirements.

 Program, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (Computer-Aided Manufacturing)

 Select cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures necessary for machining operations.

 Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper functioning.

 Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters as needed to maintain quality and productivity.

 Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and

gauges to verify conformance to specifications.

 Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any technical issues or discrepancies.

 Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 Document all production activities, including setup sheets, tooling lists, and inspection reports.
