Material Handling: Supervise the safe and proper handling, storage, and transportation of raw materials (e.g., refractory materials, glass components, industrial chemicals) and finished goods within the warehouse.4. Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers. Use inventory management software to track and document all transactions.5. Goods Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase orders and specifications. Report any discrepancies or damage to suppliers or management for resolution.6. Stock Replenishment: Monitor usage patterns and communicate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of materials. Track lead times and manage reorder points to avoid disruptions in production.7. Material Dispatch & Distribution: Ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of materials to production or external clients. Coordinate with the production and sales teams to prioritize orders and deliveries.8. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards for handling, storing, and disposing of industrial chemicals and other hazardous materials. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean storage environment to prevent accidents or contamination.9. Inventory Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation with physical inventory to ensure accuracy. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between system records and actual stock.
