- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished goods.- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock verifications and reconcile discrepancies.- Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory systems, especially for chemicals with shelf-life or stability requirements.- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.- Supervise the unloading, storage, handling, and dispatch of chemical products following SOPs and safety guidelines.- Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and identification of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.- Optimize warehouse space utilization and maintain cleanliness, orderly storage, and pest-free conditions.- Oversee packaging, palletizing, and logistics preparation for dispatch.- Enforce compliance with chemical storage norms, MSDS guidelines, and company safety protocols.- Maintain documentation such as GRN, issue slips, stock registers, safety checklists, and batch tracking records.- Ensure proper disposal of chemical waste as per environmental and regulatory requirements.- Conduct periodic safety drills and ensure availability of PPE and firefighting equipment.- Coordinate with production, quality control, procurement, and logistics teams for material movement.- Liaison with transporters, suppliers, and internal departments for smooth and timely operations.- Communicate stock status, pending deliveries, and critical material requirements to management.- Update ERP/Inventory Management software with real-time data regarding materials and finished goods.- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports for management review.- Suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and safety in warehouse operations.- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and material handling teams.- Train team members on safety practices, material handling procedures, and SOP compliance.- Monitor staff performance and allocate duties effectively to meet operational goals.
