They are also responsible for the customer either at the field or site for best connectivity and their work also ranges from creating basic circuit design to deploying the wireless network in the field.Telecom Engineer serves as development or processes engineer in the strategy and application of essential communications systems, such as public safety digital microwave, radio, Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), copper, and fiber-optic networks. The Engineers usually conduct engineering research to find if present systems and devices can be extended or revised to meet present and future telecom requirements of an organization or consumer service. They also ensure new conditions of telecommunications to fulfill the requirements.Preparation of physical layout plan for proper communication system site infrastructure, and support systems. Engineers have to manage the fitting of the essential devices.They have to also perform engineering surveys of telecommunications structures to ensure the effective operation of such telecom systems.They have to design floating and underground cableways and get permits and essential clearances for construction.They cover a broad range of responsibilities.

Knowledge of applicable engineering theory, methods and practices. Skill in the use of applicable engineering equipment and instrumentation. Must possess the ability to read and interpret prints/specs, technical writing, and organizational skills. Capable of using computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. Skill in the use of applicable engineering equipment and instrumentation. Ability to apply sound engineering principles to the solution of routine technical problems. Ability to perform complex mathematical and engineering calculations. Ability to handle multiple priorities, stress, detailed work, reasoning, deadlines. Must be flexible, analytical, and posses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Will be interacting with multiple departments and working independently. Responsible for project execution and on time completion. Responsible for project billing and collection of dues from client.
