Job Description:Study the sampling & production processes and assist to improve the processes.Undertake appropriate time study, for each product and calculate the SAM, Man Power Required and prepare the complete Operation Bulletin to publish.Coordinate to execute the Production Plan, smoothly.Planning and Managing Manpower with the HR DepartmentAnalysing the Skill Set of available Manpower vis a vis required skills. Document the Skill Matrix.Testing and Training to upgrade the available work forceKeep analysing for cost savings in production processes.Minimize wastages in production.Design layout plan for lines as per OB and assist to execute the same. Should be able to identify the exact points of assembly beginning and end without ambiguity.Minimise Changeover Time.Study complete movement of goods in the entire production processes and suggest minimizing the wasteful movement.Checking Daily WIP/ Production Output, preparing MIS and presenting to management.Alarming any delays / problems in production and get the solutions done.Implementing Newer Manufacturing Systems, such as KANBAN, LEAN, Just In Time.Analysing Bottlenecks and eliminating them from the system. Working to eliminate WASTE of any type be it man-hours, process or material related, resource related, etc.Achieve overall goal of productivity improvement by implementing best industry practices of Industrial engineering. Assist the Production Manager in achieving production targets by keeping the floor in smooth running through industrial engineering techniques.Get the 10 Point Checklist executed daily and on time.Competency: Proficient in Recording & Analyzing Data, excellent communication & negotiation skills, Excel & PPTDepartment: OPERATIONS
