As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality output in our manufacturing facility located in Nashik. This is a full-time office role suited for fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience.Key Responsibilities:- Process Optimization: Identify and evaluate production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, contributing to overall productivity improvements.- Quality Control: Monitor production quality and implement quality assurance measures to ensure that products meet company and industry standards.- Technical Support: Provide support to production teams by troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring machinery operates smoothly.- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement, allowing for informed decision-making.- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as design and procurement, to ensure that production goals are met efficiently.- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production processes, equipment maintenance, and changes to ensure compliance with regulations.To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E) and a passion for manufacturing processes. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Scheduling & Line Balancing: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly master production schedules (MPS). Map and allocate workloads to specific machinery and assembly lines to prevent idle time or processing bottlenecks.Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Analyze the Bill of Materials (BOM) against available physical stock. Coordinate directly with Purchase and Stores departments to flag shortages and ensure raw materials, components, and consumables are staged on-time.Shop Floor Control & Progress Tracking: Perform daily shop floor walkthroughs to track actual production output against the planned targets. Identify delays immediately, rearrange job sequences, and execute contingency recovery schedules.ERP Data Management: Manage and update all production routing, work order releases, material consumption entries, and job cards inside the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Zoho, Tally Prime) to ensure inventory accuracy.Dispatch & Delivery Management: Track finished goods inventory and collaborate with logistics to prepare dispatch timelines. Align production priority with real-time customer schedule updates or emergency order requests.Capacity & Efficiency Analysis: Compile production data to calculate key metrics like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime logs, and labor productivity. Support continuous improvement programs like 5S and Lean Manufacturing.

Process Optimization & EfficiencyOEE Tracking: Monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness, which measures how much of your manufacturing time is truly productive (Availability Performance Quality).Bottleneck Removal: Identifying parts of the assembly line where work gets stuck and rearranging the workflow to keep things moving.Cost Reduction: Finding ways to use less electricity, fewer raw materials, and less time for each unit produced.2. Technical OversightLine Setup: Designing the layout of the machines and workstations to minimize the distance a part has to travel.Troubleshooting: Being the first person called when a machine stops or when the scrap rate (rejected products) suddenly goes up.Tooling & Jigs: Designing or ordering specific tools (jigs/fixtures) that help workers assemble parts faster and with fewer errors.3. Team & Resource ManagementManpower Planning: Deciding how many people are needed per shift to meet the daily production target.SOP Implementation: Writing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures so that every worker builds the product exactly the same way.4. Safety & MaintenancePreventive Maintenance: Scheduling machine downtime for service before they break, avoiding expensive emergency repairs.EHS Compliance: Ensuring every worker is wearing PPE and that the factory floor follows environmental and safety laws.
