We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Shirwal location. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience and will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Conduct Regular Inspections:** Regularly check machinery and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems that may arise, ensuring early detection and minimizing downtime.- **Perform Repairs:** Quickly and effectively repair faulty equipment to maintain production schedules and minimize disruptions to operations.- **Implement Preventive Maintenance:** Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to keep machinery in top condition, enhancing their lifespan and reducing the likelihood of equipment failure.- **Document Maintenance Activities:** Keep accurate records of maintenance work conducted on machinery to track performance and identify recurring issues.- **Collaborate with Technicians:** Work closely with other technicians and engineers to improve maintenance procedures and develop solutions for complex problems.- **Assist in Equipment Installation:** Support in the installation of new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is essential. Effective communication skills are necessary for coordinating with team members and reporting issues. Candidates should be proactive in identifying maintenance needs and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours may be required to address urgent maintenance needs.

- Quality Management System (QMS):Lead implementation and auditing of QMS standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent). Must be a certified Lead Auditor with hands-on experience in internal and external audits.- Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis:Apply structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, why-why analysis) to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.- Shop Floor Experience:Strong exposure to machine shop assembly processes, ideally within the gear industry. Should understand gear tolerances, backlash, and inspection protocols.- Manufacturing Process Knowledge:Well-versed in machining operations (turning, milling, grinding), heat treatment processes, casting, and forging techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings and process flows.- Team Leadership:Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of 67 quality inspectors/engineers. Should be capable of setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of quality.- Soft Skills & Tools:Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentations. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
