Quality Section Head - Diploma / . in Mechanical Engineering

- Quality Management System (QMS):

Lead implementation and auditing of QMS standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent). Must be a certified Lead Auditor with hands-on experience in internal and external audits.

- Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis:

Apply structured problem-solving techniques (., 8D, Fishbone, why-why analysis) to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

- Shop Floor Experience:

Strong exposure to machine shop assembly processes, ideally within the gear industry. Should understand gear tolerances, backlash, and inspection protocols.

- Manufacturing Process Knowledge:

Well-versed in machining operations (turning, milling, grinding), heat treatment processes, casting, and forging techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings and process flows.

- Team Leadership:

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of 6–7 quality inspectors/engineers. Should be capable of setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of quality.

- Soft Skills & Tools:

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentations. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
