- quality management system (qms):

lead implementation and auditing of qms standards (iso 9001 or equivalent). must be a certified lead auditor with hands-on experience in internal and external audits.

- problem solving & root cause analysis:

apply structured problem-solving techniques (., 8d, fishbone, why-why analysis) to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

- shop floor experience:

strong exposure to machine shop assembly processes, ideally within the gear industry. should understand gear tolerances, backlash, and inspection protocols.

- manufacturing process knowledge:

well-versed in machining operations (turning, milling, grinding), heat treatment processes, casting, and forging techniques. ability to interpret technical drawings and process flows.

- team leadership:

proven ability to lead and mentor a team of 6–7 quality inspectors/engineers. should be capable of setting kpis, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of quality.

- soft skills & tools:

proficient in ms office (excel, word, powerpoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentations. strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
