The role ensures that procurement activities align with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards to maintain product quality and cost-effectiveness.Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging materials, and other required supplies. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract agreements with vendors to optimize cost savings. Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of key raw materials to mitigate supply risks. Ensure documentation and records of all purchases are maintained as per company policies and industry regulations. Collaborate with the production and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid overstocking or shortages. Work with finance and accounts teams for timely processing of purchase orders and payments.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials, APIs, and GMP regulations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
