Responsibilities : 1. Review insurance applications for compliance and adherence2. Assess clients- background information and financial status3. Liaise with specialists to gather information and opinions4. Weight loss exposures and determine underwriting alternatives5. Draw up quotes for competitive insurance premiums6. Negotiate and define the specific terms of insurance policies with brokers or policyholders7. Keep detailed records of policies underwritten and decisions made8. Balance between mass and homogeneity of risks to achieve predictability of future results9. Develop and maintain a profitable book of business for the insurer10. Hands-on experience with - smart systems-, analytical tools and statistical packages (spreadsheets,SPSS, databases etc.)3. Sensible judgement and attention to detail4.
