Food Production Dairy Technologist Plant Operations
Progressive supervision & operation of milk and milk products especially Dairy Whitener, SMP, Butter & Ghee, Milk and Tea drying process, Instant Tea and Tea Pre-Mix etc. Responsible to handle shift wise production, documentation & manpower as per planning. Oversee daily activities of assigned shift, relying on high degree of concentration. Responsible for discipline in the work force, plant hygiene, safety of personnel, facilities and equipment. Plan and assign daily job duties to Supervisor & operators. Recommend changes in workflow, operations, and equipment to maximize production efficiency. To sustain improved productivity with set targets. Monitoring and controlling RM and PM wastages within norms and updating reports. Overall control for maintaining and monitoring the final product quality as per SOP and company guidelines. To lead FSMS and facilitate HACCP risk assessments in process functions and ensure food safety compliance at all times. To cross check/take feedback from QA persons/production staff and ensure only quality compliant product is finally packed. Responsible for achieving the targeted yields, losses and usage factors for ingredients and utilities, and achieving performance indicators. Responsible for the GMP, GHP, food & human safety in processing & packaging area and plant. Involvement in troubleshooting during breakdowns of major unit operations. Routine track of ISO documentation regarding cleaning & CIP schedules, production run, and inventory management. Well known about the processing activities of products like SMP, Dairy Whitener, Whole Milk Powder, Butter-Ghee, Tea & Tea Premix Efficiently utilizing of available resources, machinery and manpower. Sound knowledge of Food & Dairy product & process industry equipments especially Spray Dryer, Falling Film Evaporator, Pasteurizer, Homogenizer, Tea Extractor, Pouch Filling Machine & Blending System etc. Well known about HACCP, GMP, and Food & Human Safety. Manage& Motivate production staffs to deliver exceptional work. To co-ordinate validations and trials as and when required. Attend team meetings to discuss production status and ongoing problems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written. Throughout knowledge of the operations and ensuring necessary daily communication with other associates section. Well known about to use of computer specially Microsoft office XP, outlook and Tally. ERP knowledge will be an added advantage.
