Role Summary: A Food Technologist is responsible for developing, testing, and improving food products while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new food products and improve existing products.
Conduct food quality and safety tests.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food industry regulations.
Monitor production processes and maintain quality standards.
Analyze ingredients, nutritional value, and shelf life.
Prepare product specifications and documentation.
Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D teams.
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Conduct product trials and sensory evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or related field.
Knowledge of food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP).
Understanding of food processing and quality control procedures.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
