We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Greater Noida. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience and a diploma in engineering. Key Responsibilities:- **Design Development**: Create and develop detailed design solutions for engineering projects, ensuring they meet functionality and performance standards.- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to ensure designs can be efficiently manufactured and meet quality specifications.- **Technical Review**: Conduct thorough reviews of design concepts and make necessary revisions based on feedback, ensuring all designs are compliant with industry standards.- **Project Management**: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, monitoring timelines and ensuring milestones are met while adhering to budget constraints.- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of design specifications, changes, and approvals, providing comprehensive documentation for each project.Required Skills and Expectations:The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills in design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to develop new sheet metal home appliance products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and project goals.Lead the design and development process, including creating 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications for sheet metal components and assemblies for home appliances.Conduct design reviews to identify and address potential issues related to manufacturability, cost, and quality, utilizing DFM principles specific to home appliances.Perform feasibility studies, cost analysis, and material selection to optimize design concepts for efficient sheet metal manufacturing of home appliance products.Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source and procure sheet metal materials, components, and tooling, ensuring quality and timely delivery for home appliance manufacturing.Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring adherence to key milestones and deliverables, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have 2D or 3D drawing reading capabilities Determines labor needs to meet production goals Plans and organizes daily activities related to productions & Technical operations Solve challenging technical problems and provide efficient, cost-effective solutions. Supervise and coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure timely completion ofproduction targets. Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols duringfabrication and assembly processes. Coordinate with the design and planning team for drawing clarifications andmodifications. Maintain and optimize equipment and tools to ensure operational efficiency. Track material consumption and communicate with the procurement team toensure timely availability of raw materials. Prepare and maintain daily production reports, job cards, and status updates. Assist in testing, inspection, and installation of tanks/silos at client sites as needed. Liaise with the QC team to resolve any quality-related issues during or postproduction. Support new product development trials and provide technical feedback. Ensure all work complies with company standards, statutory regulations, and clientspecifications.4. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: B. Tech Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 - 5 years in water storage, tanks/silos, fabrication industry or similar inrole. Certifications in Auto CAD & SOLID Works or hands on experience. Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and externalstakeholders, including vendors and clients, regarding production updates andtechnical specifications. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including design, quality,procurement, and site execution to ensure smooth workflow and successful projectdelivery. Demonstrate excellent team collaboration by facilitating communication betweenshop floor workers, engineers, and management to align on production priorities. Encourage and maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line withcompany policy and legal requirements.
