End-to-End design and development of bumper system (exterior systems) Define the concept of the product design to meet customer specifications & GD&T and ensure that the design for manufacturing aspects is fulfilled. Knowledge and implementation of different regulation requirement for exterior systems Performing the risk analysis (DFMEA), DFM and DFA Design/CAD sign-off, BOM creation/ management, requirement compliance. Manage product DVP - validation for aesthetic, material, functional & geometry. Manage fixture development activity with involvement of design & Quality team along with customer for part approval & validating design as per Gap & flush requirement. Estimation and schedule preparation. Exposure to APQP process from product design activity perspective. Collaboration with team and CFT on proactive knowledge sharing, execution, support. Training/mentoring team to improve the team competency.Educational Qualification: BE mechanicalTechnical skills: Catia V5, 3D CADSoft skills: Communications skills, Team buildingExperience: 8-10 years in production Experience in Plastic Product design and Development Plastic parts design Exterior/Interior Trim design is required
