We are looking for a Design Engineer with 3 years of experience to join our team. This role is fully remote, allowing flexibility while contributing to innovative design solutions. A diploma in engineering is required for this position.Key Responsibilities:1. Design Development: Create detailed designs and specifications for various projects, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and requirements.2. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and team members to ensure designs are feasible and align with project goals.3. Software Proficiency: Utilize design software to produce and modify design documents, making sure to incorporate feedback and suggestions from the team.4. Candidate able to prepare Development of Drawings from Assembly Drawings .

Key Roles and Responsibilities Product & Electrical Design: Perform calculations for transformer electrical design, winding arrangements, active parts (core, coils, cleats, and leads), dielectrics, and thermal performance. Mechanical & Tank Design: Design tanks, mechanical structures, and 2D/3D models using tools like AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor. Simulations & Analysis: Conduct or review Finite Element Analysis (FEA), short-circuit performance simulations, and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with international and national standards such as IEC 60076, IEEE, IS, or ANSI. Bill of Materials (BOM) & Tendering: Create detailed production drawings, select components, manage BOMs, and support tendering or quotation phases. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, testing, and external customers or suppliers.Required Qualifications & Education Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Generally 1 to 12 years of experience in power or instrument transformer manufacturing (depending on junior, lead, or senior designations). Technical Skills: Transformer design and sizing calculations (ranging from distribution classes up to 400kV, HVDC, or offshore specs). Proficiency in CAD/3D software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and document management systems (Windchill or equivalent). Familiarity with simulation tools (MATLAB, FEA software) and ERP systems like SAP.

- Develop and design products according to client specifications: The design & production engineer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and specifications based on client requirements to ensure the final product meets all necessary criteria.- Oversee the production process: This role requires monitoring and managing the production process to ensure timely delivery of products that meet quality standards and client expectations.- Conduct testing and analysis: The engineer will need to perform various tests and analyses on products to identify any potential issues and make necessary improvements before final production.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Working closely with other departments such as manufacturing, quality control, and sales teams to ensure all aspects of the production process are aligned and efficient.- Maintain documentation: Keeping detailed records of all designs, processes, and changes made throughout the production process for future reference and improvement.Required Skills & Expectations:- Diploma in Engineering or related field.- 1-5 years of experience in a similar role.- Proficiency in P&M engineering concepts.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.- Willingness to work from the office location in Makarpura.- Male candidates preferred due to the nature of the job requirements.
