Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Product & Electrical Design: Perform calculations for transformer electrical design, winding arrangements, active parts (core, coils, cleats, and leads), dielectrics, and thermal performance.
• Mechanical & Tank Design: Design tanks, mechanical structures, and 2D/3D models using tools like AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor.
• Simulations & Analysis: Conduct or review Finite Element Analysis (FEA), short-circuit performance simulations, and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with international and national standards such as IEC , IEEE, IS, or ANSI.
• Bill of Materials (BOM) & Tendering: Create detailed production drawings, select components, manage BOMs, and support tendering or quotation phases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, testing, and external customers or suppliers.
