Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager - Finance to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit-related activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and applicable statutory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial Reporting: Manage day-to-day accounting, general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial closing.Finalisation of Accounts: Assist in the preparation and finalisation of financial statements, schedules, and supporting documents as per applicable accounting standards.Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, advance tax, income tax returns, and other applicable statutory compliances.Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, provide supporting documents, resolve audit queries, and ensure timely completion of audits.MIS & Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, variance analysis, and other management reports.Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor vendor payments, customer outstanding balances, reconciliations, and ageing reports.Budgeting & Cash Flow: Assist in budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, fund utilisation, and financial planning.Banking & Documentation: Coordinate with banks for financial documentation, confirmations, loan-related matters, and other banking requirements.Internal Controls: Ensure accuracy of financial records, compliance with company policies, and maintenance of proper documentation.Other Responsibilities: Support the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations and other finance-related assignments.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Practical experience in taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.Experience in audit coordination and finalisation of accounts.Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP / Tally Prime or ERP systems.Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.Good communication and coordination skills.Educational Qualifications & Experience:CA Inter / B.Com / M.Com.5-6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.Candidates with prior experience in a CA firm or Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.
