Position: AccountantThe Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting management with timely financial information.Key Responsibilities Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and customer follow-ups. Prepare, verify, and record invoices, vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes. Perform bank and cash reconciliations on a regular basis. Maintain petty cash and monitor cash transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in finalization of accounts, balance sheet, and profit & loss statements. Handle GST accounting and return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliations. Manage TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances. Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and data. Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
