As part of theData Platform team, this role collaborates closely withSolutionArchitects, Data Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholdersto ensure that data modelsand systems are aligned with business needs and enterprise architecture standards.Key Responsibilities:Architecture & Design: Translate business and technical requirements into well-defineddata models andarchitecture specifications. Design and documentlogical and physical data models,data flow diagrams,andintegration patterns. Align data architecture withapplication design and system interaction patternsincollaboration with Solution Architects. Establish and maintainbest practices and design standardsfor relational, NoSQL,and streaming data solutions.Solution Delivery & Support: Act as ahands-on architecture leadduring discovery, planning, and delivery phasesof data projects. Guide data engineers in implementing solutions consistent with architectureprinciples and project requirements. Conductdesign and code reviewsto ensure solution quality, scalability, andcompliance. Drive platform evolution by defining and enforcingreusable, modular, and scalablearchitecture practices.Data Governance & Quality: Define and enforcebest practices for data modeling, data security, andperformance tuning. Maintain consistency inmetadata, naming conventions, and data accessstandardsacross environments. Supportdata privacy, classification, and auditabilityrequirements across integratedsystems.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner withProduct Managers, Engineering Leads, DevOps, and Analytics teamstodeliver end-to-end data solutions. Collaborate withSolution Architectsto ensure cohesive design and delivery acrossapplication and data domains. Serve as asubject matter experton data structures, semantics, and lifecyclemanagement across key business areas.Key Competencies & Skills: Experience:7+ years in data engineering or data architecture roles, with at least 3years in an architecture-focused position. Cloud Platforms:Proven expertise inGCPand/orAzure, with deep understanding ofnative data services. Data Technologies:Strong understanding ofrelational, NoSQL, and object storageparadigms. Databases:Hands-on experience withOracleandPostgreSQL; proficiencyinPythonpreferred. DevOps for Data:Familiarity withinfrastructure-as-code (IaC)andCI/CDpipelinesfor data engineering. Soft Skills:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with theability tolead through influence.
