Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager
Experience Required: 10 to 15 years of experience in the FMCG industry

Role & Responsibilities
Own and drive overall sales, distribution, and revenue growth for the assigned zone.
Develop zonal sales strategies and annual operating plans aligned with business objectives.
Lead and manage Area Sales Managers to ensure target achievement across territories.
Strengthen and expand distributor and channel partner network to improve market penetration.
Review primary and secondary sales, inventory levels, credit control, and distributor profitability.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and promotions; recommend strategic actions.
Ensure effective execution of trade marketing initiatives, visibility programs, and brand activations.
Drive sales capability building through coaching, training, and performance management.
Monitor and control zonal budgets, schemes, and promotional spends.
Conduct regular business reviews and market visits to track execution and resolve issues.
Prepare and present MIS, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and governance standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Strong experience in FMCG sales, channel management, and multi-state operations.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large, geographically spread teams.
Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong analytical and financial acumen with proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
High ownership mindset and result-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel extensively across the zone.
