As part of standardizing our sales and ensuring consistent performance across the department, we are outlining the key working procedures, responsibilities, and evaluation parameters applicable to sales.
1. Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
Sales Management & Strategy
Develop and execute effective sales strategies for the entire product portfolio.
Identify new business opportunities and key accounts to drive revenue growth.
Conduct competitor analysis and monitor market trends to refine sales tactics and approach.
Client & Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Negotiate and close high-value deals in alignment with company objectives.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular follow-ups, proactive engagement, and timely support.
Sales Reporting & Analytics
All sales persons must maintain and share the following reports on time:
Daily Sales Update: To monitor daily performance
Weekly Sales Report: Highlight lead conversions, challenges, and progress on ongoing deals.(By Saturday 7PM)
Monthly Sales Report: Detailed analysis of KPIs, targets vs. achievements, revenue insights, and strategies.(by last working day 7PM)
Reports should be shared as per the prescribed formats and timelines.
Each report must be sent via email, CCing all key stakeholders (reporting manager, operations, and accounts).
Additionally, ensure that CRM systems and dashboards are updated daily for data accuracy and analytics.
Team Leadership & Training
Senior members are expected to mentor new or junior sales executives.
Regular team training sessions will be conducted to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
KPIs will be set individually, and performance evaluations will be carried out periodically.
