Job Description

- meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for assigned product categories.

- drive primary and secondary sales by ensuring consistent product availability and visibility.

- develop and manage a strong network of retailers, wholesalers, and distributors within the assigned territory.

- regularly visit trade partners to collect orders, resolve issues, and strengthen relationships.

- execute in-store promotions, visual merchandising, and point-of-sale displays to enhance brand visibility.

- educate trade partners and customers about new product launches, pricing, and offers.

- efficiently plan daily routes to cover maximum outlets and ensure coverage of the entire territory.

- conduct field visits as per the beat plan and maintain detailed records of daily activities.

- ensure timely replenishment of stock at the distributor and retail level.

- coordinate with the supply chain/logistics team for smooth product delivery and order fulfillment.

- monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends to provide actionable insights.

- collect feedback from retailers and customers to support product development and strategy planning.

- prepare and submit daily sales reports, visit logs, and customer feedback through crm or designated formats.

- maintain updated records of orders, collections, returns, and stock levels.

- work closely with area sales managers, marketing teams, and supply chain personnel to align sales strategies and execution.

- participate in regular sales meetings, training programs, and performance reviews.

- build and maintain strong professional relationships with trade partners to ensure loyalty and repeat business.

- resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

- adhere to company policies, pricing structures, and ethical selling practices.

- ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines applicable to fmcg sales.
