Roles & responsibility

ï‚· QA Manager is responsible for defining & establishing the quality management system.

ï‚· QA Manager looks after the day-to-day quality activities to ensure that employees are effectively implementing the quality system.

ï‚· QA Manager develops qualities policies & procedures that help in the consistent manufacture of quality products.

ï‚· QA Manager is also responsible for training the employees in quality practices.

ï‚· Draft quality assurance policies & procedures

ï‚· Interpret & implement quality assurance standards

ï‚· Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards

ï‚· Develop & help in the development of quality documents including quality manuals, SOPs, work instructions & related formats

ï‚· Monitor the distribution of quality documents in the company

ï‚· Explain the quality policy & objectives to employees & ways to achieve it

ï‚· Conduct regular training sessions for employees to familiarize them with current quality practices

ï‚· Define inspection activities for incoming, in process & finished goods.

ï‚· Review the implementation & efficiency of quality & inspection systems

ï‚· Define the agenda for internal quality audits & conduct periodic internal audits

ï‚· Document management review meetings & other quality assurance activities

ï‚· Periodic monitoring of other departments for compliance with SOPs & record keeping

ï‚· Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate external audits

ï‚· Develop, recommend & monitor corrective & preventive actions

ï‚· Monitor risk management activities
