Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Surat for a Purchasing Assistant. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services. Other tasks include maintaining accurate records, assisting in contract management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures to support efficient business operations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchasing activities
Experience in Procurement and Vendor Coordination
Strong Communication skills for effectively interacting with vendors and internal teams
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic knowledge of supply chain management
Proficiency with purchasing software or ERP systems
Relevant educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
