We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technical Support Engineer to provide first-level and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations and deliver excellent user support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues
Install, configure, and maintain Windows / Linux / macOS systems
Diagnose and resolve network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Handle ticketing systems and maintain issue resolution documentation
Support email systems (Outlook, Gmail, Office 365)
Assist with software installations, upgrades, and patch management
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams when required
Ensure data security, backups, and antivirus updates
Provide user training and guidance on IT systems and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic Linux commands, and system administration
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Freshdesk, Jira preferred)
Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and IT asset management
Strong communication and customer service skills
