Job descriptionKey Responsibilities: Handle and resolve the most complex technical issues that L1 and L2 cannot resolve. Design and implement changes to optimize network configurations. Conduct performance analysis to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions. Lead initiatives for capacity planning and network scalability. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents. Develop long-term solutions and fixes for recurring issues. Collaborate with vendors or third-party providers for unresolved issues. Mentor L1 and L2 engineers to improve their technical knowledge. Share expertise through training sessions and workshops. Update and expand the NOCs knowledge base with advanced troubleshooting guides.Essentials:Competencies Strong hands-on experience of 5+ years with Network hardware like switches, routers, Firewall, wireless network systems including wireless controller devices. Troubleshooting Metro-E /WAN Networks. Configuration and Troubleshooting of MPLS IP Networks deployed on multi-vendor platform, providing L2/L3 support for IP/DATA related network issues. Hands -on experience on designing IP/MPLS network and implementation of customers (Internal & External) network infrastructure. Configure and support Customer IP/MPLS-VPN solutions. Experience in performing ORT/ATP on new deployed equipment (Operational readiness Testing for Service Acceptance). CCNA, CCNP in Routing & Switching. Hands-on on Nokia 7750, Mikrotik, Cisco, Huawei routing and switching equipment family. Experience in handling multi-vendor technology platforms. Networking protocols: TCP/IP suite of protocols, Layer-2, Layer-3 (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, IPsec, IS-IS, Net Flow xSTP,cFlow). Strong collaboration, communication, and influence skills. Documentation and presentation skills Ability to work independently with a self-driven attitude and customer centricity.
