Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Cooking a wide variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoor items, appetizers, and breads.
Menu Development: Designing menus, planning daily specials, and innovating with new, authentic recipes.
Kitchen Management: Supervising junior chefs and kitchen assistants, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient service.
Inventory Control: Monitoring ingredient stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing food wastage.
Hygiene & Safety: Ensuring strict adherence to safety, sanitation (HACCP/USPH), and food handling standards.
Quality Assurance: Maintaining consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
Key Skills & Requirements
Expertise in Indian Cuisine: In-depth knowledge of spices, regional techniques (., South Indian, North Indian, Tandoor), and authentic cooking methods.
Culinary Experience: Proven experience as an Indian Chef, Chef de Partie, or Cook in a professional kitchen.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to manage a team and work well under pressure.
