Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Source, screen, and interview candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles

Coordinate offer letters, contracts, and background checks

Organize smooth onboarding and induction programs for new hires

2. Employee Management

Maintain accurate employee records (digital & physical)

Track attendance, leave, and punctuality using HR software/tools

Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives

3. Payroll & Compliance

Compile attendance and leave reports for payroll processing

Coordinate with accounts team for timely and accurate salary disbursal

Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.) and maintain records

4. Policy Development

Draft, review, and update school HR policies in line with labor laws and school culture

Implement disciplinary procedures and performance evaluation frameworks

Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-driven work environment

Qualifications

Bachelors or masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 2 years of HR experience; experience in school/education sector is a plus

Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
