SalonBot is a WhatsApp-based AI assistant designed to help Indian salon owners manage their businesses with greater efficiency. It provides 24/7 automated responses to customer inquiries, schedules appointments, sends reminders, and reduces no-show rates. By offering a seamless dashboard through WhatsApp, SalonBot eliminates the need for additional app downloads for both salon owners and their clients, making it a simple and effective solution for professional salon management.
1. Role overview
You will visit salons, beauty parlours, and spas in your city, show them a live demo of SalonBot on your phone, explain the benefits in simple Hindi and English, and help them sign up. Once a salon signs up and starts paying a monthly subscription, you earn a commission every single month for as long as they remain a customer - even if you never visit them again.
This is a flexible, field-based role. You set your own schedule. There are no fixed office hours and no daily attendance required. Your earnings are directly tied to how many salons you sign up and retain.
2. What you will actually do - day by day
FINDING CUSTOMERS
Walk into salons, beauty parlours, nail studios, and spas in your area during their opening hours
Identify the owner or manager - not the staff - and ask for 5 minutes of their time
Use Google Maps to find salons in your area before going (salons near me gives you a ready list)
Talk to people in your own network - relatives, friends, neighbours who own or visit salons
SHOWING THE DEMO
Open the SalonBot demo on your phone (a link we provide - no installation needed)
Show the salon owner what their customers will see when they WhatsApp the salon
Show them their personal dashboard where they can see bookings, activity, and calendar
Answer their questions in simple, plain language - no technical knowledge needed from you
SIGNING THEM UP (ONBOARDING)
Walk the owner through a 3-minute WhatsApp setup - they answer 3 questions on their phone
Help them make the UPI payment (₹399-₹1,199/month depending on plan) on the spot
Confirm their bot is live before you leave - takes under 5 minutes after payment
Send a WhatsApp message to the owner's customers number to test the bot works
AFTER SIGNING UP
Check in with your signed salons once a month via WhatsApp - 5 minutes per salon
Flag any issues to the SalonBot support team (WhatsApp group provided)
Collect feedback - what features do salon owners love, what do they wish was different
Refer happy salon owners to other salons they know - this is your fastest growth path
3. What we are NOT looking for
This is important. Many people will self-select out because they think they are not qualified. We want to correct that. The following things are not required and will not affect your application:
College degree or any formal qualification - we genuinely do not care
Prior experience in technology or software sales - we will train you completely
Experience with WhatsApp Business or any tech product - we provide everything
A laptop or desktop computer - your smartphone is all you need
English fluency - basic conversational English is fine, Hindi is the primary language
Living in a big metro - agents in Pune, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, Coimbatore are equally welcome
4. What we ARE looking for
Comfortable talking to strangers - you can walk into a shop and start a conversation without hesitation
Fluent in Hindi - most salon owners in tier 1 and tier 2 cities communicate primarily in Hindi or a regional language
Basic English reading ability - enough to read our training materials and WhatsApp messages
A smartphone with good WhatsApp - Android or iPhone, doesn't matter
Reliable and honest - you represent SalonBot's reputation in your city
Self-motivated - this is not a job where someone monitors you daily. You work for yourself.
Located in India - ideally in or near a city with many salons (any metro or tier 2 city)
Available at least 3-4 hours per day - you can do this alongside other work or studies
The ideal person for this role is someone who is already comfortable in the world of salons - maybe they visit salons regularly, know salon owners personally, or have worked in a customer-facing role before. A beautician who has left the industry, a housewife who knows everyone in her neighbourhood, a college student doing a part-time side hustle - all are excellent fits.
5. How you earn - commission structure
Your income has two components:
Fixed Commission
Monthly - INR 4000
Variable Commission
10% of Price of the Plan with which Salon has been onboarded to the platform, This commision will be paid for 12 months
. Salon with Sliver Plan of INR 799 onboarded will fetch you INR 80 Per Month for 12 Months
No Cap for onboarding the Salons, which means there is no cap on the Variable Commission that is going to be earned

6. What SalonBot provides to you
Full training - a 45-minute video training in Hindi explaining the product, how to demo it, common objections, and how to handle them. You watch it once and you are ready to go.
Demo link - a live demo of SalonBot you open on your phone. You show it to the salon owner. No installation, no login needed from you.
Your personal referral code - every salon you sign up uses this code. Your commissions are tracked automatically.
WhatsApp support group - a group with you and the SalonBot team where you can ask questions, report issues, and get help within a few hours
Marketing materials - a simple one-page PDF you can show salon owners, sent to your WhatsApp
Script guide - exact words to use when you walk in, in Hindi and English, for common situations
Visiting card template - a digital business card you can share via WhatsApp with your contact details
