Design Engineer

job overview:

we are seeking design engineers to join our team for product design, development, and manufacturing support. the ideal candidates will have a good understanding of mechanical part drawings, cad tools, and machining processes.

key responsibilities:

- understand and interpret part drawings and specifications.

- create and modify 2d/3d part models using autocad (2d) or nx (3d).

- prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, and documentation for production.

- conduct part measurement and gd&t checks for accuracy.

- support machining part design development for cnc & vmc operations.

- assist in jig and fixture design & development (preferred).

- collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure manufacturable designs.

required skills & competencies:

🔹 proficiency in autocad 2d or nx 3d modeling.

🔹 understanding of mechanical part manufacturing processes.

🔹 knowledge of gd&t, measurement tools, and part inspection.

🔹 basic knowledge of cnc & vmc operations.

🔹 ability to work independently and as part of a team.

🔹 jig & fixture design experience is an added advantage.
