Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales operations within a specific geographic area, achieving sales targets, developing sales strategies, and leading the sales team. The role focuses on increasing revenue, expanding market share, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee sales activities within the assigned area or territory.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase business growth.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the assigned area.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Conduct regular field visits and sales meetings with clients and team members.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Ensure proper implementation of company sales policies and procedures.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with marketing and other departments to support sales activities.
Train and guide sales executives to improve their performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
MBA preferred (optional)
1-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a supervisory role
