Job Summary:

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about academic programs, eligibility, application procedures, and career opportunities. The counsellor plays a crucial role in student acquisition, conversion, and retention, while ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

Guide students and parents about courses, colleges, and career options (India & Abroad).

Assess the students academic background and career goals to provide appropriate guidance.

Handle walk-ins, phone inquiries, and online leads effectively.

Admission Process:

Assist students in filling application forms, preparing documents, and meeting admission requirements.

Follow up with students for fee submission and documentation.

Coordinate with colleges/universities for seat confirmation and admission updates.

Lead Management & Conversion:

Manage and update lead databases (CRM tools).

Follow up with leads via phone, WhatsApp, email, or in-person meetings.

Achieve admission targets and contribute to business growth.

Relationship Management:

Build rapport with students and parents.

Liaise with university representatives and maintain updated knowledge of admission policies and deadlines.

Marketing Support:

Participate in educational fairs, seminars, webinars, and school visits.

Support in creating and distributing promotional materials and campaigns.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong persuasive and negotiation skills

Good organizational and time-management abilities

Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets

Knowledge of education systems in India and/or abroad is a plus

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (Education, Counseling, Marketing, or related field preferred)
