Job Summary:The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about academic programs, eligibility, application procedures, and career opportunities. The counsellor plays a crucial role in student acquisition, conversion, and retention, while ensuring a high level of customer service.Key Responsibilities:Student Counseling:Guide students and parents about courses, colleges, and career options (India & Abroad).Assess the students academic background and career goals to provide appropriate guidance.Handle walk-ins, phone inquiries, and online leads effectively.Admission Process:Assist students in filling application forms, preparing documents, and meeting admission requirements.Follow up with students for fee submission and documentation.Coordinate with colleges/universities for seat confirmation and admission updates.Lead Management & Conversion:Manage and update lead databases (CRM tools).Follow up with leads via phone, WhatsApp, email, or in-person meetings.Achieve admission targets and contribute to business growth.Relationship Management:Build rapport with students and parents.Liaise with university representatives and maintain updated knowledge of admission policies and deadlines.Marketing Support:Participate in educational fairs, seminars, webinars, and school visits.Support in creating and distributing promotional materials and campaigns.Key Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong persuasive and negotiation skillsGood organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and achieve targetsKnowledge of education systems in India and/or abroad is a plusProficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communicationQualifications:Bachelors degree (Education, Counseling, Marketing, or related field preferred)13 years of experience in admissions, counselling
