The candidate should be LLB with 5 to 6 years of experience in legal field, out of this at least 3 to 4 years of experience in Real Estate Industry is a must. The incumbent must have Strong Litigation Experience and extensive exposure to Land & Revenue related Legal aspects. The Candidates must be adept at Legal Drafting including Replies to Notices, Written Statements etc. Age group: 35-40 years. Staying in Central Suburbs OR should have travel time of less than an hour for reaching to Sion. RESPONSIBILITIES; To carry out basic drafting of legal documents. Drafting/ Vetting/ Scrutinize Legal Documentation in respect of Petitions, Written Statements, LOD, Applications, Appeals, Notices, Deeds etc. To carry out extensive co-ordination and follow up with Law Firms/ Sr. Advocates/ Counsels offices & day-to-day drafting. To attend court matters at Thane Civil & Criminal Courts, Thane Revenue Offices / Courts (Tahsildar, SDO, Dy. Collector, Appeals), Bombay High Court & various Consumer Forums etc. Coordinate with Departments viz. Police/IGR & DIGR/Registration /Collectors of Stamps as may be required etc. To read & interpret Land Records viz. 7/12 extracts, Mutation entries, Orders under section 32G & 32M, section 43 of BTAL etc. relating to lands in Thane & Suggest appropriate legal actions to protect the companys interests in these lands. To manage timely response to legal notices against the company. To Maintain and Share Litigation MISFunctional: Knowledge of Legal Drafting Knowledge of Land Related Acts. Well versed Legal Documentation Strong Procedural Knowledge of Civil/ Criminal/ Revenue matters.Behavioral: Analytical and problem-solving skills Good verbal & written communication skills Well Versed with Computers
