Dear Candidate,We are looking for Design Engineer in Managerial cadre posting at our head office Hyderabad,The person should have B.Tech or B.E. Degree in Mechanical engineering , experience in Design and detail engineering of storage tanks (API650) in Oil & Gas Projects. Relevant experience in maintenance of tanks and API 653, pressure vessels, piping knowledge is also preferable.The following are the requirements to be fulfilled by the candidate:Minimum Experience: 5 -15 YearsLocation: H.O. at HYDERABAD willing to visit the site location once in a month as and when required. Industry: Oil & Gas Exposure: Design and detail engineering of API 650 / API 653, IS : 803, NFPA 16, 20, knowledge in OISD and relevant codes for storage tank construction. Knowledge in LPG Terminals, mounded storage bullets, double walled storage tank construction etc will be of added value. Job Description:- Designing & Detail Engineering of Storage tanks, Pressure vessels, mounded bullets, spheres, Package equipments as per international & IS standards like API 650, ASME Sec VIII div 1 & 2, IS 803, IS 2825 and EN standards.- Preparation of data sheets, Material requisition and Technical Bid evaluations.- Perform equipment design calculations for Storage tanks and Pressure vessels.- Provide input and review of General arrangement drawings and detail drawings.- Preparation of MTO and provide material specifications for purchase.- Guide and alot the work to junior engineers and jr. designers / draughtsman.- Participate in inter disciplines activities and interact to optimize designs.- Estimate total weight of equipment with specific material and thickness for estimation purpose.- Exposure to Oil & Gas specifications and standards requirement like IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, OIL, GAIL and having worked with Engineering consultants Like EIL, Technip, TCS, Wood etc.- Should be able to go through Client requirement
