OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers- Identify electrical problems using testing devices and hand tools- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other tradespeople- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used- Respond to emergency calls and perform timely repairs Required Skills & Qualifications- Proven experience as an electrician (minimum [X] years preferred)- Valid electrician license or certification (as per local regulations)- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures- Ability to read technical documents and schematics- Familiarity with power tools and electrical testing equipment- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills- Physical stamina and dexterity Education & Certification- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program- State-issued electrician license (if applicable) Preferred Qualifications- Experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems- Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and smart systems- OSHA certification or other safety training Work Environment- May involve working in confined spaces, heights, or outdoor conditions- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required
