We are looking for a skilled and precision-driven Drill Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate radial, pillar, and bench drilling machines to drill, ream, and counter-bore high-precision components used in pharmaceutical machinery (such as blister packaging and filling lines). You will work closely with the engineering team to interpret blueprints and ensure all parts meet strict tolerance limits.Key Responsibilities:Machine Operation: Set up and operate various drilling machines (Radial, Bench, Pillar) to drill precise holes in metal plates, shafts, and custom machine frames.Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, and job cards to determine hole sizes, depths, and exact center points.Tooling & Setup: Select, sharpen, and install appropriate drill bits, reamers, and taps based on material specifications (Stainless Steel SS316L, SS304, Mild Steel).Quality Check: Use precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges) to verify component accuracy before handing them over to assembly.Maintenance: Perform daily routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of the machinery to ensure optimal and safe working conditions.Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Must possess an ITI / NCVT certificate in Machinist, Fitter, or Turner trade.Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Drill Machine Operator in a machine manufacturing or heavy engineering plant (Pharma equipment experience is a major plus).Technical Skills: Deep understanding of drilling speeds, feed rates, cutting fluids, and high-precision marking/punching.Shift & Schedule: Full-time, Permanent, Day shiftBenefits & Perks: Bus Facility Provident Fund Canteen Leave Benefits Bonus Double Overtime Uniform & Safety Shoes Salary Slip
