You should have a passion for precision and an eagerness to learn, as you will be working with advanced machinery.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Operating VMC Machines:** You will set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to manufacture parts according to specifications, ensuring efficiency and quality.- **Quality Inspection:** Regularly inspect the components produced for accuracy and quality, using various measuring tools and techniques to meet quality standards.- **Maintenance Activities:** Conduct routine maintenance on the VMC machines, including cleaning and minor repairs, to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.- **Data Recording:** Accurately record production data, including machine performance and any defects observed, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.- **Collaboration with Team:** Work closely with fellow team members and supervisors to enhance production efficiency, providing input on process improvements where applicable.**Required Skills and Expectations:**- **Technical Aptitude:** Basic understanding of machining processes and VMC operations is preferred, although training will be provided for fresh candidates.- **Attention to Detail:** You must be meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring that all produced components meet quality and dimensional specifications.- **Problem-Solving Skills:** Ability to identify issues and suggest practical solutions is essential for maintaining workflow and productivity.- **Team Player:** You should be able to work well in a team environment, communicating effectively with your colleagues.- **Physical Stamina:** The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to handle tools and machinery safely.

- Proven experience as CNC/VMC operator.- Experience on Control like HAAS, Mitsubishi and Fanuc.- Knowledge of Cutting Tools and Cutting Parameters.- Expertise in operating CNC machine and tooling as well as precision measurement tools - Prepare daily production report.- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.- Computer knowledge with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.- Having expertise in handling measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, Height gauge (TRIMOS), Micrometer, Radius Gauge, Go-No Go Gauge, Thread Gauge, Slip Gauges, etc.- Knowledge of GD&T.- Coordinate with QC team and ensure Quality of parts.- Mechanical Engineering skill and good mathematical skill.- Ability to give training to trainee Operator.- Good communication abilities.- A keen eye for detail and result-driven approach.
