PURPOSE-Level one, Technical support via phone, email or in person for all customers/distributors ofAPEC region. To provide technical online training / customized training to the customers in the regionKEY RESPONSIBILITIES-1) Provides day-to-day delivery of technical support services across APEC countries.2) Works collaboratively with other technical support staff to ensure that enquiries are resolve/distributed in line with agreed service levels.3) Ensures that quality standards, quality procedures and corporate standards are met. Ensures safety standards and regulations are maintained.4) Works collaboratively with other Company Divisions, APAC subsidiaries and Prague HQ to provide measurable data and reports, ensuring that department goals are met, and outcomes are delivered on time and on budget.5) Provide technically focused presentations to the customers and distributors in respectiveterritory, at the presale stage to guide the customers in the selection of right products for right application.6) Solving, investigation and troubleshooting of issues with Company products and applications on daily basis.7) Collaborates with both the Operational Services & Support Manager and the Regional Technical Support & Services Manager to meet customer needs and continuously improve support services.8) Maintain technical equipment used for demonstration and training purposes Company starter kits and controllers demo setsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES-The incumbent is accountable for:Effective liaison with all APEC subsidiaries to ensure a seamless service.Showing honesty, professionalism, reliability and desire to achieve results, willingness to accept responsibility for the job you do.Working constructively with people to achieve a common goal. Candidate shall own complete architecture for core embedded development of Industrial gateway, Switching and Wireless Products, along with device UI architecture. Candidate shall develop strong development practices for world class products, understand the customer needs, identify the gap and define practices to improve product quality and build strong and highly engaged team.Primary Skills Expertise in embedded & Industrial IoT platform/ solution architecture & design. Expertise in MQTT, MBTCP, Modbus, TCP Good knowledge in Bare metal, C, Linux, L2/L3 Good knowledge of Datacom, Industrial IoT & Dockers Good on design and implementation using design principle, patterns and best practices. Good on preparing conceptual, architectural documents Good Understanding of Agile methodologies and process. Good on IoT Edge related architecture & design. Hands-on for doing required PoC for decision making. Team mentoring and train them for required skillset. Documenting technical artifact related to architecture and design. Good on architecture, design, code reviews and refactoring. Expertise in code engineering tool like static automated unit testing, code analysis, code coverage and automated build and deployment using DevOps. Ability to help team members in case any blockers/ showstopper. Interacting with customers directly on requirement gathering and further planning with team. Ability to asses and understand existing platform and suggest in case any architecture / design changes required. Problem solving skills, driving resolution/tracking of the technical issues, risks and dependenciesGood to Have: Fair knowledge in Golang and ReactJS. Static Code Analyzer & Code Coverage tools.
