Responsibilities:Quality Control:Implement and manage quality control processes for optical system design.Conduct inspections and assessments of optical components, subsystems, and complete systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.Testing and Validation:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for optical systems, including performance testing, reliability testing, and environmental testing.Collaborate with engineering teams to define testing requirements and protocols.Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation of quality standards, testing procedures, and inspection records.Prepare reports summarizing quality metrics, issues, and recommendations for improvement.Root Cause Analysis:Investigate and analyze any quality issues, defects, or failures in optical systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement in optical system design and quality assurance.Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and overall product quality.Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and certifications related to optical systems.Ensure that optical system designs comply with relevant regulatory requirements.Collaboration:Work closely with optical engineers, product designers, and manufacturing teams to address quality-related concerns and optimize system performance.Participate in design reviews and provide input on quality aspects of optical system development.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in quality control or assurance, with a focus on optical system design.
