Job Description

The person employed for bare pipe inspection shall be technically qualified and trained in steel plate and line pipe manufacturing procedures as well as in the testing of API 5L quality SAW/HFERW/ Seamless pipe as applicable.

The inspector should also be qualified as per ASNT level II-in UT, RT, PT & MT and should be fully conversant with API-ASME codes for pipe and APIRP codes for transportation and handling of pipes and other relevant codes as applicable for bare pipe inspection.
