This role requires a strong background in quality assurance and testing, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, approach, resources, and schedule for testing activities, ensuring thorough coverage of features and requirements.- Conduct Manual and Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing to identify defects, validate fixes, and ensure software functionality meets specified requirements.- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to understand product features and provide insights on potential quality issues early in the development process.- Design Test Cases and Test Scripts: Create detailed test cases and scripts based on specifications to ensure all scenarios are evaluated, including edge cases.- Report and Track Defects: Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring that all issues are resolved prior to product release.- Mentor Junior QA Engineers: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the team.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in both manual and automated testing is essential, along with experience in testing tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance. A team-oriented mindset and the capacity to work independently are also important traits for success in this role.
