Reports to: Director of Operations/Managing DirectorJob Summary:The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and maintenance of a safe working environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives.2. Ensure quality control and implement quality management systems.3. Manage and optimize production processes, resources, and workflows.4. Lead and develop a team of production supervisors and operators.5. Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.6. Analyse and improve production processes, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.2. 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or production management.3. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.4. Experience with quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles.5. PPM reduction of line by implementation of Quality techniques Like- Problem Solving Tech 'Basic QC tools -Pareto analysis, Check sheet, Histogram, Control charts, Cause & Effect Diagram, Stratification. Defined Process Parameters and Quality Standards to achieve the product Quality as pacifications Product Audit and Process validation with continuous improvement. Self maintenance of the machine for the internal department. To conduct Process Capability studies ( M/C capability) Working on Improvement projects and lean management. New Developments and Improvements / Trials activities (Inspection / Testing ). Production and manpower planning according to requirement. Store Planning Row material procurement. Purchasing planning Tool room tools planning. Die casting production planning. Moulding production planning. Company & machine maintenance. Machine Shop production planning. Product costing.
