We are seeking a dedicated Resident Medical Officer to join our healthcare team in Mohali. This full-time position is ideal for recent MBBS graduates or those with up to 6 years of experience. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play an important role in providing high-quality patient care. **Key Responsibilities:**- **Patient Assessment:** Perform thorough evaluations of patients to determine their health status and needs, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.- **Treatment Implementation:** Administer prescribed treatments and medications, monitoring patients' responses to ensure effective recovery without complications.- **Health Record Management:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records, documenting observations, treatments, and progress to comply with legal and ethical standards.- **Collaboration with Medical Staff:** Work alongside nurses, specialists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care and share insights on patient conditions.- **Emergency Response:** Handle medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, utilizing clinical knowledge to stabilize patients and coordinate further care as needed.- **Patient Education:** Inform patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures, promoting better health outcomes and patient satisfaction.**Required Skills and Expectations:**Candidates should possess a valid MBBS degree and strong clinical knowledge. Provide efficient and effective assessment and management of the departments patients following accepted professional guidelines patients in the inpatient setting and EDWork with other Team members to mutually agreed workSchedules and waiting list management processes, in consultation with the Head of Department / Service Manager.Conduct regular ward rounds and ward work at a time that facilitates efficient patient flows and meets treatment objectives Carry out investigative and treatment procedures within the Organisation where possible.See and advise on inpatients referred by hospital specialist colleagues for assessment, within a timeframe appropriate to the clinical circumstances.Be responsible for the referral of any patients under their care to other centres for specialist treatment when appropriate.Maintain comprehensive and accurate records for all patients seen.Provide verbal advice to GPs who telephone for assistance.Ensure that discharge summaries are completed by the team, ideally at time of discharge but otherwise within 24hrs of discharge.Skills: Thorough knowledge of general patient psychology.Ability to demonstrate about prescription and Drugs.Good Communication skills (Verbal) to help patients during treatment.Responsible to repair injuries, correct deformities, prevent diseases.Selection of appropriate surgical procedures under pressure.Usage of established surgical techniques during operations.Desired profile of the candidate: MBBS with 0 2 years (same/ higher experience is also considered) as Medical Officer, Emergency Medical Officer, Causality Medical Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Senior Medical officer.Compensation range: As per Experience (in negotiable terms) + other benefits and with stay as years a Bonus benefits will be provided additional to salary + Extra duty hours benefits.
