HDU - Ensure bedside nursing care to the assigned patient in HDU based on basic assessment and evaluating outcomes. Giving psychological support to patients and relatives. Doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation in case of emergency. Carrying out various procedures like pleura tapping, CVP insertion. Providing routine care for all patients in HDU. To carry out nursing procedures e.g. injections, venepuncture, supra pubic catheters. Monitor vital signs hourly and report any deviation from normal to the concerned authority. Maintain input and output chart after monitoring blood and electrolyte balance. Administer medication and treatment to the patient as prescribed by physician. Working as a good team in case of emergency. Knowledge to operate ventilator, syringe pump, cardiac monitor. Ensure all professional/clinical practices are in line with Policies and RGCI&RC Standards.
