Job Summary:The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and plant utilities operate safely and efficiently. The role includes preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, minimizing machine downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules.Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime.Maintain maintenance records, logbooks, and reports.Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance activities.Ensure availability of spare parts and maintain inventory.Supervise technicians and maintenance staff.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures.Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.Required Qualifications:Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
